retinal color studies

During this lesson, we took the knowledge we learned from our retinal landscape and interior studies, and focused on painting objects up close. The difficulties I came across while painting was blending the right colors to paint an accurate depiction, not only of the object but also the different hues that are created within its shadows. I felt like this painting achieved the goals for this project because although it does not include every detail, the colors help “fill in the blanks.”
