starbucks x yankee candle brand collab

For my senior project, we were given the freedom to develop our own assignment to be showcased at our senior graphic design exhibit. I wanted to create something where I could apply the skills I’ve learned in both graphic design and marketing. I also wanted to challenge myself to work on something that required more than just an eye for design. I chose to develop a brand collaboration that would not only gain attention but also result in an increase in sales for both companies. My goal was to execute this in a visually seamless manner. This project was very challenging regarding what brands to choose, what type of product line I could create, & what brands could benefit from one another. After a lot of trial & error, brainstorming, and research, I chose Starbucks & Yankee Candle. Understanding the target audience would be crucial, which is why I chose a company I personally love (Starbucks), and a company that I think doesn't get enough hype from my generation (Yankee Candle)!
